The Levados are in the parish of Sabrosa, in an area where millers used to work cereals to make flour. And on the Levados estate, there are still, next to the river, the ruins of an 18th century mill. This mill was a surprise for us, because it was wrapped in brambles and bushes, and only after cleaning work it was possible to catch a glimpse of it. The vineyard is about 25 years old, with fresher reds, where touriga franca and tinta roriz are the queens.
